Information You Provide to N2X

Customers and authorized users may provide, create, or generate information through the Aether platform. Depending on how a customer uses our services, this information may include:

  • Evaluator or reviewer feedback.

  • Scenario responses and other evidence of performance.

When N2X processes this information on behalf of a customer, N2X generally acts as a service provider or data processor and processes the information according to the customer's instructions and applicable contractual requirements.

Depending on the services selected by a customer, these capabilities may support assessment development, item generation, scoring, analysis, reporting, and other assessment-related functions.

Information processed through AI-enabled features may include assessment content, responses, scoring information, competency information, and other information necessary to provide the applicable service.

N2X does not use customer confidential information or individual assessment responses to train publicly available artificial intelligence models.

Where N2X uses third-party artificial intelligence, cloud, or technology providers to support platform functionality, information may be processed by those providers only as necessary to deliver the applicable services and subject to appropriate contractual, privacy, and security requirements.

N2X designs its AI-enabled assessment capabilities to operate within defined assessment frameworks, competencies, scoring requirements, and other parameters established by N2X and its customers. Customers determine how assessments and assessment results are used within their organizations and remain responsible for decisions made based on those results.

 

4. Customer-Controlled Information

Organizations using N2X may collect and process information about employees, students, candidates, certification applicants, learners, or other assessment participants.

When N2X processes personal information on behalf of a customer, the customer generally controls that information and determines why and how it is used. N2X processes such information only as necessary to provide the contracted services, comply with customer instructions, maintain security and integrity, and satisfy applicable legal requirements.

If you participate in an assessment administered by an N2X customer and have questions about your assessment information, results, or privacy rights, you may need to contact the organization that administered the assessment. Where appropriate, N2X will assist its customers in responding to privacy requests.

 

5. How We Share Information

N2X does not sell personal information.

We may disclose information to service providers and technology partners that assist us in operating our business and delivering our services. These may include providers of:

  • Cloud infrastructure and hosting.

  • Artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies.

Our security practices are designed to reflect the nature of the information we process and the services we provide. We also evaluate the security practices of service providers that process information on our behalf.
